See, McCain-Feingold forbids corporate-funded ads that identify or refer to political candidates in the period leading up to an election. Fahrenheit 9/11 is about President Bush, so its ads can't help but refer to the president. And the movie is being distributed by Lion's Gate Films, which is, of course, a corporation. QED, ads for Fahrenheit 9/11 can be banned by the FEC after July 30.
